Clean up and up to date facilities bathrooms are cleaner than the prior theater prices are high especially on snacks. Manager is not friendly and doesn't have proper people skills.

• Pros: clean, modern, stadium seating, more leg room then that of older theaters
• Cons: ticket prices high and food prices are very high, bad manager, and maybe a rude employee or 2

Great theater now.

It's such a relief to watch a movie in a comfortable theater. The chairs are good, plenty of space between rows, every seat is a good one.

Naturally, the concessions are outrageous. Feed the kids first. Feed yourself first. The trans-fats in the popcorn will stop your heart before the coming attractions are over - do yourself and your wallet a favor.

I avoided the old cineplex. This one is a dream.

Best Movie Theater Around

Wow I love this movie theater. It has great employees and the service is awesome. It is another persons fault if they are late, bring a screaming 3-year-old, and got the wrong tickets, not the theaters. The food there is really good and they give you a good amount of it. In the theater they have big screens, reclining chairs, a lot of seats so it isn't so crouded, and in the really big theater, they sell stuff to you so you don't have to go the the stand. I think that everyone should go there except people that know they are going to be a nuisance and then write about how unlucky they are for their doings. Other than that, it is a great theater and people love it!

• Pros: Parking, service, food, theaters overall.
• Cons: Annoying people that bring their screaming kids then write about thier problems on the site.

I has a solution: CARRY A PURSE

Most of the complaints for this place involve the price of the food. Duh. It's a nice theater. This is where they make their money. Has no one ever smuggled food into a theater before? Trust me, it's well worth the ease on your wallet. I recommend Red Vines and Peanut Butter M&Ms.

On all other counts, this is a great theater. The staff is competent, the place is huge, seating is amazing. Probably my favorite theater in the area! Plus, it doesn't smell disgusting. (Yes, Plaza theater, I'm talking about you.) Even as a near-broke college student, I am more than willing to spend a little time and money to go to this place. Also, student discount is great, especially considering the demographic they're pulling in.

TLDR: Sneak snacks in; get a small popcorn if you love that theater stuff like I do. Relax, and enjoy one of the best theaters in the county.

• Cons: Food, but let's get over that.

I really hate to sound like my parents, but who can afford to take a family to the movies and buy a popcorn, candy and a drink? Its a $35 trip for just my husband and I..Thats why we wait until its out on DVD and we can have anything we want to eat and drink and stop the movie for a bathroom break...

Worst movie theater ever

This was the worst movie theater customer service experience ever. You buy your tickets outside of the entrance. My children and I were running late of course. No matinee discount for child's tickets. OK - too late already. So we want popcorn and a drink. You walk back through to concessions - no prices or any way to tell sizes on the huge lit up combo menu. I asked the clerk how big a medium popcorn was - she walked back to the rear counter and brought out a bag. Well, how big is a small then. She has to repeat the trip. The customers behind me is getting impatient so I order after asking about several price combinations. The medium drink was HUGE - (32 oz maybe) - way more than we needed.

So we walk back toward the movie area carrying the spilling bag of popcorn and the HUGE drink and my purse while hanging on to my 3 year old. The ticket checker advised us we had the wrong tickets and had to go back to the outside ticket booth. He did call ahead to warn the ticket selller. Spilling popcorn with screaming 3 year old we walk back all the way out. My son cut in line in front of the other adults and exchanged the tickets(Why couldn't they have just crossed out the wrong name or called for someone to come and exchange the tickets in the back) Why didn't the ticket seller wonder why a woman with 2 kids is taking them to an adult rated film and double check if he heard me correctly.

Drag everyone back to the movie - now we are 20 minutes late. - No Movie on. We get settled in when the grandmother in front of us says they usually forget to start the matinees and another mother went out to get help.

Great chairs to sit in but I am sticking with the little theaters downtown and the one in Cortland for what they don't carry. Never again.

Great new theater with stadium seating

The new stadium seating theater is the best. Everyone can see the screen and the sound and atmosphere is great. Only downfall is that the concessions are very overpriced.

• Cons: concessions are very expensive i.e. $11.00 for medium popcorn and medium soda

Great Theatre!

I come to this theatre to see almost all of my movies. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and it is never too crowded.

If you like to watch movies in the afternoon or early evening without too many people in the theatre with you, Hoyts 10 is the place to go!

They have a nice student discount too ;)
