Clean , satisfactory for the price. We stayed here one night on a pass through Ithaca. It had good rates for a non-smoking queen 'suite'. The original hotel strip looked very run down, but the queen suites in front were in better shape. The room was clean and satisfactory for the price.
Friendly!Clean!Quiet!. The staff were friendly and the room allocated to us was clean. full range of toiletries was provided.did allow for a quiet stay which have merit when travelling all day
Clean Rooms Friendly Staff. The room was clean and the management friendly.Free continental breakfast was provided. The room was as clean as it gets. The building we stayed in seemed rather new.
Good accomadations. No complaints on this motel. Good accommodations for the money. Room was clean and comfortable even though the room is not very large. Friendly staff. Even the kids liked this place. Basic, but nice.
Overall it was good. I had seen the reviews, but everything else was booked or too expensive. The Rodeway offered what the four of us needed in one room. I booked via AAA, by the way, and their reviews were favorable. For the money we certainly were not expecting the Waldorf Astoria and I've been in other well known chains that have been awful.
good clean accommodations. Ivy league status means that Ithaca is a pricey city to visit. However, this motel allows one to stay in good clean accommodations at a reasonable price. Breakfast, internet, fridge are all there and everything is clean and in good repair.
I was impressed.
The Rodeway Inn & Suites looks like a typical highway motel, luckily though, the place is very well kept and very clean. I was impressed by the overall cleanliness of the rooms and the daily housekeeping service.
The rooms come with everything you need including tea & coffee facilities, iron and board, fridge and freezer (!) and a newly refurbished bathroom.
Internet is also complimentary
Fit our needs.
I was in town with 2 business partners as part of a short city-hopping trip. We needed an inexpensive room that the 3 of us could share that wasn't a total dump. The Rodeway fit those needs just fine.
Let me start off by saying you don't book a night at a Rodeway Inn expecting luxury and white glove service. If you do, you're delusional. That said, if all you're looking for is a clean room with a working shower and a few basic ammenities, then the Rodeway will do just fine.
We were given a large room at the front of the hotel, facing the road. From what I gather reading the other reviews here these are the "newer" rooms.
Sorry tkd had a bad experience. I've stayed at Wonderland Inn twice now. I was allowed to bring my dog, which was the reason for going to Ithaca. She had surgery at Cornell University. I found the Motel, clean, received towels, pillows, microwave, anything I asked for was provided. Also I received many calls from the hospital which were promptly transferred to my room. I have no complaints.
ripped off. The owner refused to give me a confimation number when I cancelled my reservation. He said it was not necessary because he hadn't "run your card through". About 7 days later my account was charged for TWO nights plus an unexplained fee of $26.00. Total charged to my account $305.10. This is my one and only dispute in 40 years. BEWARE!!!
