Some of the business practices of this company are illegal. The staff will outright lie to you about your rights (smiling and being friendly the whole time of course). They don't care about you, your health, your safety, or the law. They get away with this because students in Ithaca have no idea about NY tenants rights. Don't become another one of their victims, find a nicer landlord!

Amazingly bad landlords and property management. The houses are maintained so poorly that they were actually dangerous (faulty electrical, rotting support structures, etc. One of the guys who came out to fix our electric even made a few comments about Jewish people ruining the kids school in town, wow.) I've been in four CSP properties, all have been basically the same. I don't want to give away details that would identify me, but we really could have been killed by our houses negligent maintenance. Maintenance, that's a dirty word with them, they claim to have good service, but the truth is they are so cheap the house is falling apart no matter how much they work on it, so they come out a few times a month to work on things. Do not expect privacy, they have keys and will come in your house without notice. Further more, I have caught several high up members of the staff flat out lying to tenants, about any number of things. These people will say anything to manipulate you. STAY AWAY!!!!
