Why So Expensive?

The food is very good, the decor and service are nice, and the place has been around nearly ten years, so they're definitely doing something right. But Maxie's really is quite overpriced. Try it out if you have really deep pockets, or if you want a treat for a special occasion...

Wonderful place to have dinner!

We were there for a celebration and the staff was very accommodating. They have very attentive service. The food was very delicious as were their signature cocktails. The waitstaff was just delightful; they made sure that we were having a great evening. The menu was a bit pricey for what was basically comfort food, but the atmosphere and service justified the cost. We really enjoyed the complimentary cornbread as well. I can't wait for my next trip to Maxie's!

Great food, super servers!

This is a great time. There is live music, Shuck & Jive, on Sundays--at least in July. The servers are great and are a lot of fun. Grilled shrimp skewers rock!
