I just got off of the phone with the owner who was literally screaming obscenities at me. Completely unprovoked, mind.

Drain Brain came to my house to unclog my sewer line from to house to the street. During the repair Drain Brain's snake broke off in the line. They left the snake in the line and left. The problem is now 10x worse and 10x more expensive. Drain Brain refuses to finish the repair or retrieve the broken snake.

I have never had a worse experience with a business. The problem has been turned over to my attorney and the BBB.

called me a liar. I was told to be at home from 2 - 4 pm. At 3:30, I looked at my phone and saw that someone had tried to call. I did not recognize the number, and there was NO MESSAGE. I decided to try the unknown number, and it was the plumber who said he'd tried to reach me earlier in the day and was now working out in Cortland. He advised me to call the main office. I did so and was told that 1) they had left me a message and b) that they had been at my house after 2 PM. Both UNTRUE.

I hope yo be able to change this review - but right now, I am furious. I've spent the whole day at home and now have someone in their main office telling me that I was not here.

Clean, Curtious, Professional. Wow - what a great service. The crew came in and unclogged the drain in 15 minutes and then tested their work by turning on all the faucets.

Their competitor tried 3 times to clear the clog, but all they did was get the floor wet and left.

Exceptional, Reliable Service Highest recommendation!. We've lived at our home for 13 years. The house has 50 year old galvanized steel plumbing and has always been a problem. At least 3 times a year, we've had to call a plumber to unplug the bathtub drain, or kitchen drain.

We've tried a couple plumbers or drain cleaning services, but the Drain Brain is the BEST hands down! They are quick to respond, reliable, and provide terrific service. One thing I value is that they stay until the job is done. Their crew is always polite and friendly as well.

I give them the highest recommendation.

Avoid The Drain Brain At All Costs!. If I could give this business 0 stars, I would.

Their actual service staff are friendly and courteous. The owner, however, is one of the worst people you will ever have to deal with in your life.

We recently had a service call to my mom's house, to clear a toilet and the shower. 12 hours later we noticed flooding in the basement, obviously whatever the clog was simply got pushed down the line farther. No problem, right on the invoice it says they stand behind their work for 3 months.

Or not. Or my mom will call, and then get yelled at, berated, and told it will be $275 to come out and look at the problem. And when I say yelled at, I mean myself, my fiance, and my sister, who were sitting at the table, could hear the owner screaming at my mom.

There are plenty of other plumbing services in the Cortland/Ithaca area, so I would steer well clear of this one.
