Get night Cashiers. In the evenings you have to go to self checkouts and bag your own food. This is not right . If I wanted to stand in line for 20 minutes to pay for my food and then bag it to I would work as a cashier. They have good prices but if you go in evening hours be perpared to work. I will go to wegmans where I get service. I refuse to scan and bag my own food. Wegmans has better service and you dont wait in line forever either.

Great store, bad experiance with a Discriminating employee. I love the sales, love the variety... but an employee at this store is very discriminating and ruins the whole experience. She is an older woman (40?) with glasses, short (boy short) gray/white hair about 5'6 and shapely. She always works the 'Self serve checkouts'.



My girlfriend was having a rough day, and started crying at Tops. I pulled her into a hug to comfort her (I wasn't being inappropriate) and this woman comes over to us looking for pizza for a price check. As I held my gf in my arms, I helped the employee find the right pizza product. The woman (who didn't even thank me for helping her) walked away about 10 feet, turned around and yelled at us for being 'inappropriate'. Told us that what we were doing wasn't appropriate in front of children and that she didn't want to deal with their moms coming to complain.

I wasvery upset and asked her if I should say that to any couple who was comforting their beloved, and she (angry btw) snapped at me that I should repeat her message. Then she stormed away.

I walked out of this store without buying anything. It was a horrible experience and I never intend to visit that store again. Not with that Bigot working there.
