I booked an appointment as a new client. The staff and the stylist were friendly. The atmosphere is sweet. But when I arrived, I was informed my stylist was far behind, and one of the less experienced stylists offered to take me instead. That was a nice gesture, but made me uneasy. I decided to wait the 40 minutes or so until my assigned stylist was ready.
The stylist was nice, but not as skilled as I would have expected. I wanted a trim and a few long layers to frame my face. I left with choppy layers that just did not work for me. Now that I think about it, I was the last appointment of the day, new, not a regular who specifically asked for her, and maybe she just wanted to get out of work as fast as she could.
