I have thick, wavy hair Greek/Italian hair that is difficult for most stylists. I am so glad to have discovered Gia's Elite Style and the master stylist there. She laid all of my worries to rest because she knew exactly what to do. Now I can grow it long without any hesitation. Her expertise and professionalism shows through. She is so friendly and personable. It was a great experience. I also purchased some very attractive tops at very low prices. I would recommend Gia for a ladies day, a men's day or for anyone who wants to feel like new!

My sister and I went in to see Nalyn for haircuts, after reading all of the great reviews. We were her last appointments of the day, and in no way did I feel rushed or pressured to get a cut that I wasn't looking for. She was amazing with her advice for both of our haircuts and her friendly demeanor made us feel really at ease. Her skills in precision hair cutting are amazing, and she walks you through what to expect from the cut and different ways to style it. If you are looking for solid and honest advice on how to make your hair look the best it can look, please don't hesitate to visit this salon.

New to the area and needing a haircut, I went to a salon only to get a bad haircut. I found Gia's Elite Style where my hair was rescued. The location is convenient, parking is abundant, and I can enjoy a coffee at Ithaca Bakery! Prices are reasonable!

Nalyn is absolutely a professional! i had my eyebrows waxed by her the first time last week. She did a impeccable job and she is very friendly. I will definitely go back in the future.

Nalyn did gorgeous updos for our wedding last month, we had so many people asking us who'd done our hair. She's patient and fun and her work comes out so beautiful. Fabulous cuts, good advice for hair problems and the best eyebrow waxing around. Thanks!

I've been going to Nalyn for years to tint my eyelashes. She's a real perfectionist, better than anyone I've gone to in California or New York. It's hard to find someone who provides this service around here. I love how it changes my face and how long it lasts.

We just recently discovered Gia's Elite Style. Since one year (we are new to Ithaca) of trying all kinds of different hair salons we are finally in good hands. My whole family sees Nalyn for haircuts. Nalyn is a great hair stylist who takes her time, she will consult with you making sure you will get what you want . Her precision cuts are just awesome and because she cuts so well they last longer. She spends at least 20 to 30 minutes cutting my sons hair, she just wont stop till it's perfect. I am seeing her for highlights and she does that very well, too. I visited family in Europe recently and they all complimented me on my hair cut and color. I can only recommend Nalyn, here you get what you pay for and that's hard to find in Ithaca.

Great hair cut! Nalyn is a gifted stylist. I got my eyebrows done too and they looked great! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great cut.

After having the read reviews from other people, I guess I was just very unfortunate. Nalyn is apparently a very nice lady but the most annoying thing is how she bragged about herself during the WHOLE time, which actually did raise my hope but the haircut turned out pretty unsatisfactory. I eventually had a second cut the day after in college town. Things that I did not like about this place: 1) she seemed to be rushing the whole time; 2) during the wash, I got bubbles and water all over my face and she just did not seem to care too much; 3) she basically charged whatever she liked - and charged me Manhattan price. I will just never go back. Sorry.

GET READY FOR THE COMPLIMENTS!!. Nalyn has been cutting my hair for over four years now. She is the ONLY hairstylist who knows how to cut my hair the way I like it - Short, wispy, and fun! I have really thick, wavy to curly hair, and love sporting a Meg Ryan-esque 'do. I have been to many hairstylists over the years, and Nalyn's precision cuts are the BEST. I even drove over an hour (for a couple years) to get to Gia's Elite Salon, when I was living in Corning, New York. Nalyn is an incredibly fun, hip, extremely talented hairdresser - She will NOT disappoint!! Get ready to stand out, receive lots of compliments, and feel absolutely fabulous!
