Man Hungry Meal. Recently i stopped at Sammy`s the restraunt has a great atmosphere an very clean and a rewarding enviroment to sit and enjoy your meal. The frenchfries were my favorite, along with the yummie wings and all kinds of spagettie items and sauce,And many more items to choose from;Sammys Italian Buffet reminds me of my childhood days with Grandmas Good Old Cooking. I will be there as much as i can, He holds the secret reciepie on the Best Fries In The City Of Ithaca,NY

Good, solid Italian food. It's a little eerie at Sammy's as the tables and chairs were recycled from the prior Chinese King Buffet. One sort of expects to still see the Oriental wait staff walking about. That much of the arrangement is still the same also gives a deja vu feeling. However, the decor has been redone and the paintings on the side walls of views out archways add to the sense of space in the interior.

The buffet food is, well, buffet food, though it should be noted that the salads are quite fresh and the side broccoli was not overcooked. Aside from the large varieties of pizza they do offer a nice round of sides including such basic "comfort food" as mac and cheese! While most of their pizza is rather thin crust, they have a decent Sicilian cheese pizza with more crusty chewiness. I would imagine that the cooked fresh-to-order food from the menu might be somewhat better, but the buffet is quite adequate.

For lunch especially it is very reasonable, dinner for two was just under $22, not too bad either, really, for all you can eat. The only dessert choice is soft ice cream, chocolate, vanilla, or combo. I would love to see a little more variety, cannoli would be welcome, for example. Beverages are of the soft drink variety, including unsweetened tea and caffeine free root beer.

All-in-all I'd give it 3.5 stars. Nothing to write home about, but a good solid meal with wide variety at a good price, especially for the pizza lover. They also have the proper additional spices for the pizza, red pepper, garlic and Italian seasonings so you can fine tune your pizza's flavor - something often lacking in more commercialized mainstream establishments.

Recommended.

Amazing dinning experience. We went there for lunch with group of friends, service is very fast, self service, you pay when you enter, drinks included, unlimited salad, pasta, wings ( they were amazing), 22 different kiinds of pizzas with thin crust and gourmet toppings, ice cream which i put over a hot dessert pizza made of choclate and banana.

I paid $ 7.99 and ate tons of delicious food.

This place became my favorite, I will try their menu next time.
