GREAT. Everyone that wrote about how bad it is obviously did not go in there with an open mind. This is by far my favorite restaraunt. I go there at least 2 a week. and they know my name and exactly what i want. there food is beyond amazing and i love it there. I suggest you go there. everytime i tell people about it and they go there, they love it. My grandpa hates japanese food but LOVES it there.
The best for family with kids, to meet friends and for all!. We go there with our two boys everytime we get close to the area. We choose to eat there because the food is prepared with fresh ingredientes and it tastes great. We do not like the food served at the mall and avoid junk food at all times. This the best place to feed your family outside your home!
love it!. This is a great place for adults and children alike. I have never had bad/rude service although sometimes the language/culture barrier has been a little difficult. The sushi is very good, probably the best in town. I agree that the Hibachi show is not "the best" but it is the "only" local and I found that the food is good as well. On my first visit I did not know about the wine/beer policy either. In fact even though I go there about once a quarter, for the last 3 years, I was not aware you could bring in your own beer/wine until I saw another patron do so.
Wonderful staff and great food. Can't believe the previous reviewer went to the same place. I go there at lest once a week (twice if I can). The staff is always sweet and friendly. They even ask after the rest of my family when they aren't with me. The food is always fresh and wonderful. The hibachi "show" is alot tamer than some I have seen. High marks though for the freshest sushi in town.
terrible. Kyushu was a big disappointment. The hostess yelled at us for trying to change our seat and we were told that beer and wine was not served. In fact, wine is "bring your own" but we were never informed of that until we asked on our way out, after seeing another table drinking a bottle of wine. We sat at a hibachi and the food was cooked very quickly, so quick that the seafood did not seem cooked at all. Every time we were asked if things were ok, the person asking didn't even wait for a response, they just said "ok great!" and walked away before we could even answer. The cooking "show" consisted of virtually no tricks, not really any entertainment at all - nothing like other japanese hibachi restaurants we have been to in the past. The quality of the food was very poor for the money and the cook, servers and hostess were rude. Not recommended.
Fabulous sushi!. This wonderful restaurant should be listed under the sushi category too. Kyushu has good hibachi and GREAT sushi. The waitstaff is very polite and helpful. They also love when my daughter (3) comes with us. Lunch during the week is one of the best times to go as things are less expensive then.
