Bottom line; they saved me money. I have never had a better experience with an auto shop. The price they tell you out the door is the price you pay when you pick up your car no hidden fees. They treat my wife and I fairly and would never try to charge a woman more money. They really potray the family atomsphere and seem to have repeat customers. The shop manager Sean has always gotten my car in the same day and fixed it the next day. We drive a VW and a Honda and I feel the level of compentency with forgien vechiles is what really brings me back each and every time. I can safely say that I trust this shop with my car (that I put about 700 miles per week on) to do any sort of service. If you live in the Ithaca area and own a VW stop going to Bill CROOK and start saving money. If you own a Honda they have an ASE certified tech and specialize in Honda. All in All they seem to bend over backwards to assits their customers in any way possible.

I've been taking my 1988 Acura to Autoworks since purchasing it two years ago. They always take the time to explain options to me and even after spending an hour trying to diagnose a problem, don't charge if they couldn't figure it out. I can trust them with my car and my pocketbook.

I used to work in a shop and this is the best garage that I've ever dealt with. They know their vehicles; they don't do unnecessary repairs -- even repairs that they could well claim need to be completed; they are friendly and professional and their shop rate is reasonable. Unless you are driving a vehicle that demands very specific knowledge or repairs that can be completed only by a dealer with specialized equip., its hard to imagine a better general repair shop. Even though I don't live in Ithaca, I hold off completing repairs until I come to visit friends here. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I agree totally with the excellent evaluations above. Autoworks has my confidence. Service is unparalled. I am nearly 82 years old and have seen a great many repair shops, several of them very good; have lived and driven from coast to coast in USA and in Canada.

I was a customer at the local Honda dealer but i was refeared by several clients. So i gave autoworks a chance and i have never been happier with the quality of service, myself and now most of our family recieve at autoworks! I Feel Autoworks is the best repair facility in Ithaca NY

I had an excellent experience with AutoWorks. They were professional and courteous. I brought my car in for a oil change and alignment. When the mechanic noticed other issues he brought me back and showed me exactly what was wrong. He gave me his opinion as to what should be dealt with now, and what could be safely ignored and monitored.

I recently brought my car into Autoworks after being taken advantage of at another local shop. Shawn treated me with the utmost respect. In fact, when I needed to get back to work and my car was not ready, he let me take his car. They are always looking out for the customer and not just themselves. I trust Autoworks 100% and that is pretty amazing being a female car owner and having several bad experiences. I will never take my car anywhere else.

My car had a bad misfiring problem -- the sort that could be caused by 15 different things. The shop thoroughly diagnosed the problem (on the second try, but they made sure to have me come back and test drive it so we caught the additional problem). They promised not to give me back the car if it wasn't in perfect shape, and they didn't. They explained what was wrong. And I'm pretty sure they saved me a lot of money on parts and (very) reasonable labor costs. Thanks guys.
